What: Daytime restaurant and coffee shop with a minimalist design and tasty menu
Where: 2510 W. Temple St., Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles
Perfect for: A lax brunch meeting or a casual day of laptop work
Having a cute coffee shop open up nearby is always cause for excitement, but Doubting Thomas feels extra hype-worthy because they also have a delicious food menu. With yummy breakfast sandwiches, burritos, rice bowls, and toasts, it’s hard to go wrong here for a filling brunch. Doubting Thomas is also known for their handcrafted pastries, which use fresh ingredients and are made on site. The vibe here is airy and minimal, but mismatched furniture makes it feel a little cozier. There’s also reliable Wifi, so you can camp out and enjoy a day of working on your laptop while snacking on their food.
